VISIT TO DISTRICT OFFICE

The Norwood School organised an educational visit to Deputy Commissioner’s office, SSP office and office of Chairman, District Planning Board in Nawanshahr, so as to familiarize the students about functioning and setup of the office.
Sh. Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, IAS, the honourable Deputy Commissioner, Sh Bhagirath Singh Meena, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, and Sri Satnam Chechi Chairman, District Planning Board facilitated the visit and interacted with the students and answered various queries put up by them.
It was an enriching experience for the young novians who learnt about the different aspects of functioning of district administration, selection process of IAS, IPS and about the development plan of the district.
Students were accompanied by the school Chairman Mr. Mohit Kumar, Director Mrs. Pooja Chaudhary, Principal Mr. Ravinder Singh Bhanot and Manager Mr.Mukesh Bhatia.
It was indeed a very fruitful session!!
