ADMISSION PROCEDURE

At The Norwood School we have strived to make our admission process as simple as possible to ensure that all prospective parents enjoy a stress free application experience. Admission is open to all the children from all sections of society. The session of the school is from April to March. Registration begins from November each year.

A well-versed Admission team is always there to help you at each & every step of the Admission Process, all the way from enquiry until your child joins the school.

Step 1:

1. You may submit the online enquiry form on our website or visit the school office. Our team will be happy to answer all your queries and share the required information. Information regarding opening of admissions is always conveyed through the school circulars and through various social media handles such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram page, WhatsApp Channel.

2. Step 2:

Parents & Guardians are welcome to visit the school campus to understand the vision and mission of the Institution.

1. Pre-Nursery and Nursery

Admission to these classes are based on small interaction with the kids. Hence bring your child along with you for formal interaction.

2. Classes LKG to IX

Admission forms can be obtained from the school office on any working day. From LKG to IX and XI (All streams) registration is compulsory and a written test shall be the necessary criteria. Admission to classes LKG to IX will be subject to merit The registration form should be duly signed by the Parent or Guardian. Date for the entrance test shall be provided by the Admission Team. While providing the information which is to be filled in the Registration /Admission form, parents should be true. In case of any discrepancy, the management holds the right to cancel the Registration Form as well as the admission of the child. Registration fees once paid is non-refundable. Registration does not guarantee admission. It is subject to assessment procedure and availability of seats.

1. Registration amount and admission fees once paid is not refundable.

2. Admission given to any student from Nursery to Class IX shall be valid up to Class X only. After that, the student has to seek up gradation in the school. For further studies which is offered based on their past Academic Performance.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

  • Photocopy of Birth certificate which has been issued by Registrar, Birth & Deaths along with Original certificate to verify.
  • 4 Passport size photos of the child.
  • 4 Passport size photos each of Mother, Father and Guardian.
  • Photocopy of Aadhar card of the child, Father, Mother and Guardian.
  • Caste Certificate in case you belong to category SC,ST, OBC/BC.

In case admission is in classes from LKG onwards then these documents should be compulsory submitted:

  • Original Report Card of the previous (Old) school.
  • Original Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate from the previous (Old) school which has been registered on Epunjabschool.gov.in (In case the school is in Punjab State).

Step 3: Acceptance of Admission:

  • Students are admitted on first come first serve basis depending on availability of seats.
  • Selected candidates will be required to make the fee payment immediately after the admission is confirmed.
  • The school reserves the right to admission. In all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the management will be final.

Withdrawal Policy
FOR ALL CLASSES

Application for the school leaving certificate should be made in writing at least a week earlier by the parents or guardian of the student. Such an application should be accompanied by a clearance certificate regarding payment of all school dues. School fees and other dues are charged up to the month of issuance of the school leaving certificate.
