The children of today are gearing up to become adult citizens of tomorrow. The growth is parallel to the future of our country, reflected through the quality of the present education system.

The Norwood School stimulates curiosity in the young impressionable minds and equips them with tools to be better human beings. It works on the theme of education being the key to a well-rounded development instead of just a means to acquire degrees and monetary success in life. The school ensures that, during school life, education must facilitate the cultivation of a healthy thought process and groom cognitive abilities.

The school firmly believes that the personality consists of interdependent components, each being equally important requiring equal attention and can only be developed through a wholesome education. The school attempts a balance between the necessary aspects of education.

We assist the students to make informed choices for future through 5-fold growth approach, which enhances intellectual, physical, spiritual, emotional and social growth.

2. Intellectual Aspect

School offers intellectual education in order to avoid the relative aspects of modern education. Various education methods are adopted with the help of projects related to the social and natural environment.

3. Moral Aspect

The school believes that children raised in environments that encourage a rich and thoughtful spiritual life tend to be happier, more optimistic, more thriving, more flexible, and better equipped to deal with the struggles we all face in life. The school aims to develop the personality of the students so as to cultivate in them the feeling of respect for all religions.

4. Social Aspect

School is the first avenue of socialising for a child, until then, parents and immediate family members are the only people the child has human interactions with. Thus at the Norwood School, the children are exposed not only to new ideas but also to same-aged compatriots. This instils sociable practices such as empathy, friendship, participation, assistance which turn out to be important in their adulthood.

5. Aesthetic Aspect

Helping children understand the world around them plays a key role in early childhood development. Hence at the Norwood School set of values relating to nature and the appreciation of beauty are incorporated into early childhood. This helps to increase motivation and develop appropriate interpersonal skills.
