Champions’ Quest
The Norwood School celebrated its much-awaited Annual Sports 2024–25 with the vibrant theme “Champions’ Quest”, a four-day extravaganza filled with energy, cheers, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
The Opening Ceremony, held on 11th November 2024, was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Avneet Kaur, PCS, ADC (Development), SBS Nagar; Guest of Honour Sh. Satnam Singh Chechi, Chairman, District Planning Board, SBS Nagar; and other distinguished dignitaries including Smt. Sunita, Management Member; Mr. Mohit Kumar, Chairman; Mrs. Pooja Chaudhary, Director; and Mr. Ravinder Singh Bhanot, Principal. The celebration began with Lamp Lighting, Unfurling of the School Flag, March Past, Lighting of the Sports Torch, Release of Balloons, and cultural performances.
Students from Grade 2 to 10 participated in a variety of events—from Relay Races and Medicine Ball throws to fun-filled games like Shuttle Run, Spoon and Lemon Race, and Frog Jump—displaying teamwork, skill, and enthusiasm. The Best Teacher and Best Service awards were also presented.
The Closing Ceremony was a grand success, attended by Chief Guest Sh. Preetinder Singh Bains, PCS, SDM, Balachaur, along with dignitaries and management members. To mark Children’s Day, students presented colourful cultural performances, and kindergarteners in theme-based attire spread joy.
Champions’ Quest celebrated not only victories but also discipline, respect, integrity, and resilience. The event concluded with unforgettable moments, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all.
